About Harely Redin: Redin coached the Wayland Baptist Pioneers (men) from 1946-57, and the Hutcherson Flying Queens of Wayland Baptist (women) to a 431-66 record and six National AAU Championships. He set a record with a 131 game winning streak. Redin coached 36 athletes who won a total of 65 All-America Awards. Thirty-two of his women players played on national teams. He also coached the U.S. to two Gold Medals in the Pan-American Games. Redin is named as one of Sports Illustrated 50 Greatest Sports Figures of Texas
