About
Note from the artist Robert Hurst: I was commissioned by Maggie Mae's on 6th Street to create a mural celebrating what makes Austin, well, Austin. So I took that theme and ran with it. I felt it was important to include historical references as well current icons. That's why you'll see everything from the founding fathers to Bevo to bats, music, food, drink and current places and people. Visit Maggie Mae's to see the mural in their downtown bar area
Celebrate Austin the Visitors Guide featured Austin Tex-Mecca on their front cover. May 2016
