This special lithograph of Robert Hughes is part of the Texas Sports Hall of Fame series. Hughes, the basketball coach at Fort Worth Dunbar for 45 seasons (1958-present), passed Morgan Wooten of Dematha HS in 2003 to become the winningest high school basketball coach in the nation with 1,275 victories.
Only 50 limited edition prints, 5 artist proofs and 15 inductee proofs were produced from artwork by Robert Hurst, the
Official Artist to the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. Hughes signed the prints during his TSHOF induction ceremony February 2004. A certificate of authenticity is included with the print along with a photo of Hughes signing. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
