About the Subject

Football artwork / print:
Angleton, TX native and CB Emmitt Thomas played 13 seasons for the Kansas City Chiefs (1966-78). Chiefs all-time interception leader with 58. Selected to four Pro Bowls & made one AFL All-Star team. Twice led the league in interceptions (AFL in 1974 & NFL in 1974).  His 12 picks in ‘74 set a Chiefs team record.  Played at Bishop College in Dallas. Entering his 28th season in the NFL coaching ranks. Currently the assistant head coach for the Atlanta Falcons. Elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2008.
