About the Subject
- Bobby Moegle won more high school baseball games than any coach in Texas history. When he retired from Lubbocks Monterey High School (1960-1999) he had more wins (1,115-266-1) than any coach in the country (he currently ranks fifth on the national list). Hes coached over 100 players who have continued their baseball careers at the collegiate level, 20 of whom signed professional contracts. Moegle is the founder of the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association, a four-time Texas High School Coach of the Year, and was the National Coach of the Year in 1972
